Lands Monitor
PEERLESS TROUT FIRST NATION
This full-time permanent position reports to the Lands Coordinator and will be responsible for providing timely on-the-land scanning and monitoring information for the Lands and Resources Department. Main duties to include: patrolling PTFN lands by vehicle to monitor for proper land use. Developing working relationships and providing education, guidance and expertise while working with government, industry, and other lands users is also a part of this role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must have extensive knowledge of the oilfield and TLU area;
Honest, respectful, and trustworthy;
High degree of work ethic and flexible;
Possesses community, cultural and traditional PTFN knowledge;
Valid driver’s license-Class 05;
Ability to understand/speak Cree is an asset;
Must provide a clear RCMP Police Information Check.
