COVID-19 Measures
As many of you are aware the First Nation has seen an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the community over the last week. We have also had an increase in requests for COVID-19 testing. As we are unaware of what the results of testing will bring forward our current measures for COVID-19 will stay in place.
We have been receiving several requests from members who reside outside of the community who are wanting to come and see family members. At this time, we cannot allow access to those not living in the community. Our Health staff and our Emergency Services Coordinator are working closely with Alberta Health Services on the measures we have in place and to ensure the virus is controlled within the community. We would like to thank those who participated in our recent COVID-19 survey. The results from the survey indicate that members would like to see the current measures stay in place until the
COVID-19 active cases controlled and decreasing on a regular basis.
COVID-19 has affected all our lives over the past ten months. We realize there are members who are wanting to see their family and friends. We appreciate your hard work in doing your part to keep our community safe. We ask that you remain patient and vigilant with the measures that are in place. Once we are able to ease restrictions we will notify all members.
Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.
