Trout Lake Members – Fire Evacuation Alert

>> This is an Alberta Emergency Alert.  Alberta Emergency Management Agency on Behalf of Peerless Trout First Nation has issued a Wildfire Alert.  This alert is in effect for: Peerless Lake First Nation.  The wildfire southeast of the Trout Lake Community is now 11 km away, and everyone within Trout Lake must be prepared to evacuate on short notice. There is heavy smoke from this wildfire in the area and this will cause issues regarding driving visibility, and concerns for people with breathing issues. Follow the Peerless Trout First Nation Website and Facebook Page for more information.  If you are in the affected area: Everyone in Trout Lake must be prepared to evacuate on short notice, and caution must be used while driving in certain areas due to heavy smoke. The public should remain inside, limit exposure to smoke and seek medical attention if you experience breathing difficulties.
