Here is an update of the current status for COVID case follow up in Peerless Trout First Nation

Reported by FNIHB to AHS as of today January 5,2021:

Active case: 15

Confirmed cases (total to date): 21

Probable case: 0

Recovered: 6

How COVID-19 spreads:

COVID-19 most commonly spreads from an infected person to another person through the following:

  • Close contact: Breathing in someone’s respiratory droplets after they cough, sneeze, laugh or sing.
  • Contaminated surfaces: Touching something with the virus on it and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes with unwashed hands.
  • Common greetings: Handshakes, hugs or kisses.
