CONFIDENTIALITY RULES DURING COVID FOR OUR STAFF
- All COVID cases and contact tracing information and names in our community MUST be kept confidential by the staff.
- All public health staff and support staff in our community have made a legal obligation not to disclose COVID-19 information about clients and contact tracing.
- Efforts to locate and communicate with clients and close contacts will be carried out in a manner that preserves the confidentiality and privacy of the members involved.
- Health and community support staff cannot share the name of the client to a close contact unless permission has been given (preferably in writing), and not giving confidential information to third parties (e.g., roommates, neighbors, family members).
Please respect and understand our staff are obligated to maintain confidentially throughout this time. They cannot share confidential information with members. We appreciate your cooperation.
